Safety & Risk Statement

At Irish Spirit, the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of our guests are important to us. Our tours are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for most participants and may include short walks on public footpaths, roads, grassy areas, fields, and other natural terrain.

Before the start of each tour, participants will receive a brief safety introduction covering the day's activities, local conditions, responsible behaviour, and any relevant safety considerations.

Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for:

  • Wearing suitable clothing and sturdy footwear appropriate for the weather and terrain.

  • Taking reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.

  • Following the instructions and guidance provided by the tour guide.

  • Respecting local communities, private property, wildlife, and the natural environment.

  • Adhering to Leave No Trace principles throughout the tour.

Health and Fitness

Participants confirm that, at the time of the tour, they are in good health, fit to travel, and capable of participating in the activities included in the tour.

Participants should inform the guide before the tour of any medical condition, allergy, injury, mobility issue, or other circumstance that may affect their participation or require assistance in an emergency.

Walking and Outdoor Conditions

While our tours do not involve strenuous hiking, some walking routes may include uneven surfaces, grass, mud, loose stones, slopes, steps, wet ground, or other natural obstacles. As with any outdoor activity, there is an inherent risk of slips, trips, falls, or minor injuries.

Participants are expected to exercise reasonable care and attention at all times.

Weather Conditions

Tours operate in a variety of weather conditions unless cancelled or modified by the organiser for safety reasons. Participants are responsible for bringing suitable clothing and weather protection appropriate for the conditions on the day of the tour.

Public Areas and Transport

Tours may involve walking in public places, near roads, car parks, visitor attractions, and other public areas. Participants are responsible for observing normal pedestrian safety and following applicable local regulations.

Transport provided during the tour is operated by licensed third-party transport providers and is subject to all applicable safety regulations.

Changes to Itinerary

Irish Spirit reserves the right to alter routes, timings, stops, or other elements of the itinerary where necessary due to weather conditions, safety concerns, road closures, operational requirements, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Acknowledgement
