Hello and a warm welcome to Irish Spirit!

West Cork is known for its dramatic coastline, rolling green hills and colourful villages. But beyond its natural beauty lies something even more remarkable: ancient stone circles, mysterious megalithic monuments, sacred wells and stories that have been passed down for thousands of years.

You may find that Ireland is unlike anywhere else. Some places have a presence that is difficult to explain. Where archaeology and mythology meet, many visitors discover what feels like the true magic of Ireland.

Those are the stories I would love to share with you.

Ireland has been part of my life for many years. What began as a love of travelling gradually became a deep connection with the country's history, culture and people. After countless visits and many lasting friendships in the southwest, I fulfilled a long-held dream by moving to West Cork in the summer of 2025.

I completed my training as a Regional Tour Guide and in Irish Heritage and Culture at Kerry College, where I learned how to design engaging tours and guide guests safely and professionally. Before moving to Ireland, I worked in event management for a Swiss non-profit organisation and also supported people through periods of change as a part-time coach. Today, those experiences help me create tours that are personal, welcoming and adapted to the interests of each group.

Whenever I am not guiding, I am usually exploring Ireland myself—searching for lesser-known archaeological sites, discovering local stories and meeting the people who keep Ireland's rich heritage alive. The more I learn, the more I realise how much there is still to discover.

As a Swiss native, I speak German, French and Italian, and I believe that languages build bridges between people and cultures.
